Nature lovers should take a trip to the Rhön Biosphere Reserve , some 30 kilometers away. Numerous hiking trails point the way to the mountain Wasserkuppe as well as to the “Holy Mountain of the Franks”, the Kreuzberg, with the monastery brewery located there.
